The journey of transforming Egyptian education began with the implementation of the new education system, #Education_2.0.
Education 2.0 is a comprehensive reform that includes a complete curriculum change and a curriculum framework that is developed in accordance with the “Life Skills and Citizenship Education” guidelines, adopted by UNICEF in 2016.
Our students in kindergarten and Grades 1 & 2, are now learning from the curricula developed by the Egyptian Center of Curriculum and Instructional Materials Development (CCIMD), in cooperation with prestigious Middle Eastern and International educational institutions.
The textbooks for this stage; Arabic, Religion, the multidisciplinary book and English, are all divided into the same four themes; ‘Who Am I’, ‘The World Around Me’, ‘How the World Works’ and ‘Communication’.
The multidisciplinary book “Discover” is the product of collaboration between CCIMD and Discovery Education – Egypt.
